Suns Out Guns Out - Interactive Music First Revision

This is the first revision of my interactive music composition for the video game Sun's Out Guns Out, a third person sci-fi shooter based on enemy waves. The original setting for the game was inside an alien spaceship and the development team required a composition that fit the setting but also humored the main characters and gameplay.

This track is seperated in loopable segments (edited together here for continuity) which were later on implemented as interactive music events in Wwise. These segments included and Introduction, Tutorial level, transition music between levels and two intensities per level which guided the player through level progression. Also there is an increase in progression through each level.

Suns Out Guns Out - Interactive Music Final Revision

This is the second and final revision of my interactive music composition for the video game Sun's Out Guns Out, a third person sci-fi shooter based on enemy waves. Once the development took a sharp turn in theme, the game was set in a beach where the two main character (body builders) were fighting off an alien invasion.

 

The development team requested a much more "chill" theme to fit the beach setting and also that would fit the humorous nature of the main characters. Instead of escalating every level (4 in total), it was required for the music to escalate greatly with the final wave of enemies, since this is where the game increases sharply in difficulty.

This track is separated in loopable segments (edited together here for continuity) which I later on implemented as interactive music events in Wwise. These segments include Menu Music, Tutorial level, two intensities per level which played in a randomized sequence and a final high intensity section with four different themes.
